Maroon 5 Seat Warning
In Adam Levine's words, '...every seat is a good seat.' A large runway jetted out into the entire section of floor seats, and Adam worked half the runway for the first part of the show. The show itself was FANTASTIC, an hour and twenty minutes of hits, a new song, and they closed with Let's Go Crazy from Prince. We have seats at the sold-out show, and we walk in the stadium to see a configuration that, at the kick-off to the US tour. It's early enough in the tour where they might be able to make some adjustments. But here's the thing: If you are sitting in the balconies within 2-3 sections next to the stage, there is a large portion of the show where a rotating lighting rig moves from over the stage to much closer to the stage that COMPLETELY obstructs the view. Second, the video monitors are not angled, meaning unless you are sitting within a half circle of the stage, you cannot see the monitors either. It would be one thing if I purchased obstructed view tickets, but I didn't. We were section 210 row 12, adjacent to the stage. The encore was dedicated to a large part at the V at the end of the runway. Man, I wish some of the management would come into the balcony to see the lighting rig and projection issues.
